A Sweet, Simple Farmer's Market Face Mask

Have you visited your local farmer’s market recently? If you have, then you’ve most certainly seen box after box of glistening, red strawberries and deep burgundy sweet cherries. The majority of these summer fruits will make their way into countless pies, salads and preserves, but don’t forget to set aside a cupful for a sweet, summer face peel.

After taking one look at the nutrients and vitamins in cherries and strawberries, you'll want to enjoy a serving of this antioxidant rich duo every day of your life. Cherries are an excellent source of vitamins A, B, C & E, while strawberries are rich in wellness favorite, vitamin C, as well as manganese, fiber, folate, magnesium, vitamin B6 and omega-3 fatty acids. Imagine what a heaping handful of this combo can do for your overall health and skin if taken daily.

The Benefits of Strawberries for Skincare

The manganese present in strawberries, make them a great all-natural DIY skin toner, resulting in glowing radian skin.

Contains Antioxidants That Slow The Signs of Aging
Did you know that strawberries contain a higher amount of vitamin C than oranges? This antioxidant along with lycopene, fights free radicals, responsible for breaking down collagen and damaging cells that result in fine lines and wrinkles.
