Natural Bell's Top Five Beauty Products

Natural Belle, aka Gina, is a beauty blogger currently residing in the British countryside. With a love of natural and eco brands, she has been writing about all things hair and beauty for the last seven years alongside working in the salon industry and raising her beautiful baby girl Freya. We love her honest, open and vibrant Instagram and are so lucky that she wanted to share with us her favorite eco-friendly beauty products, from hair and skin care to makeup (including the perfect red lippie).

April marks the eighth year that I have been beauty blogging about natural and holistic hair and beauty products and I feel like I've grown with the industry. I started blogging about my natural hair journey, the journey in which many women of colour (WOC) stop chemically processing their hair and return to their natural state, and this lead me to research not only non-chemical hair products but also skincare and make up and most importantly what I put into my body. The eco market has come a long way since 2008, especially in its diversity. Back then it was difficult to find natural or organic hair and beauty products for WOC, and the lack of diversity was frustrating. Fast forward eight years and companies such as EcoDiva Beauty include a wide range of inclusive beauty products that work for all skin tones and types. Here are my current favs, in no particular order.

Hynt Beauty Lipstick in Red Fevor

By far the most vibrant eco-friendly lipstick I have ever tried, not only does it stay put all day but the pigment is also second to none. Red lipstick is my absolute favourite and this one suits all skin tones.

Fitglow Beauty Vita-Active Foundation in VF7

I love this foundation by Fitglow. It uses the active ingredients from their amazing skincare in a foundation that does more than just perfect skin. Fitglow has a range of shades to suit most complexions, plus it's 98% organic and 100% vegan. Total winner all around.

Alima Pure Eyeshadow in Tigereye

Another amazing and diverse brand is Alima Pure. They have a wide selection of foundations and some lovely eyeshadows that compliment dark skin tones. I love the tones in Tigereye, for a golden glimmer effect.

Mahalo Pele Mask

Like any beauty blogger I love makeup, but it's really important to look after your base. I love masks and my current favourite is by Mahalo. The Pele Mask is the perfect skin treat and is totally indulgent. It works by drawing out impurities and detoxing skin, it leaves skin looking fresh and nourished and it's also great for hyperpigmentation or dark spots and helps to safely even out the skin tone.

Yarok Feed Your Ends Leave-In Conditioner

Lastly I couldn't do a top five without including my favourite hair product, which is Yarok Feed Your Ends leave-in conditioner, because it nourishes hair and protects it from heat. I use it on my and my daughter's hair for lush blowouts or for when I need detangle swiftly. It's a hair treat for all hair types.
